TRAVEL + PARKING

Is parking available?

Parking is available in the 17th Street Garage (G5 on the map). Once you arrive at the Center, enter through the West Entrance and follow FIBO USA signs to registration.

I’m from out of town. Where should I stay?

Where do I buy my pass?

Buy your pass here! The registration process only takes a few minutes. You can purchase your pass onsite at the event, but to avoid lines and take advantage of advance purchase pricing, we recommend that you register before Thursday, October 17.

Are there age restrictions?

FIBO USA is an event for all ages. However, you must be 18 years or older to register in advance. Minors may register onsite at FIBO USA, October 17-19, 2019 and must be accompanied by a legal guardian, who can provide permission to attend and complete the Activities Risk Assumption, Waiver and Release for Minors.

Who needs a pass/badge?

Attendees of all ages need a badge to attend FIBO USA. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Age requirements may be in effect for certain onsite activities.

Is there a refund policy?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for passes purchased for FIBO USA.

 

GENERAL STUFF

What should I wear?

Because FIBO USA is for every fitness fanatic, we encourage you to dress for your day! Holding an important meeting? Get gussied up. Coming to take workout demos and try out equipment? You’re welcome to don your favorite fitness apparel.

Do I need to bring cash? 
While most vendors may accept credit cards, others may not, so it’s not a bad idea to stop by the ATM before arriving at the Convention Center.

How do I earn continuing education credits at FIBO USA?

For a list of accrediting bodies and accredited sessions at FIBO USA, visit the Continuing Education page. Following FIBO USA, visitors who attended accredited sessions will receive a certificate stating the number of CECs/CEUs earned. For specific instructions on how and when to submit your earned CECs/CEUs, contact your certifying organization(s) directly.

SAFETY + SECURITY

What are the security expectations at FIBO USA?
The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events. We have appropriate policies in place that cover safety, harassment, weapons, props, lost children, and everything in between.

What if I’m harassed?
Harassment of any kind, including stalking, deliberate intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, physical assault and battery, will not be tolerated at FIBO USA. If it's illegal outside the convention center, it's illegal inside the convention center. Harassment is grounds for removal from the convention without refund as well as potential legal action. We want FIBO USA to be a safe, open and accepting environment for all adventurers, and if you find yourself victim of harassment at the convention please come immediately to FIBO USA’s Show Management Office. Anti-Harassment Policy >> (can you create a page that has the Anti-Harassment Policy [word doc attached to email] and link it here)

What do I do if I find/lose something?
Please bring all found items to the Security Office. If you’re looking for something that you lost, please check the Security Office.

 

ACCESSIBILITY

Are wheelchairs, scooters, or strollers available?

A limited number of wheelchairs are available at no fee and can be checked out at the Visit Miami Beach Guest Services desk in exchange for a valid ID. Electric scooters and single/double strollers can be rented at the Guest Services desk located in Lobby C. To reserve your equipment, call the Miami Beach Guest Services Desk at 786.276.2600

Can I bring my pet?
The only animals permitted in the Convention Center are ADA recognized service animals (guide dogs and mini-horses).

 

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

Can I take pictures/video at the show?
For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at FIBO USA; however, please note that video recording is prohibited during panels and special events. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with attendees. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

Will I be on camera?
FIBO USA will attract local, national and international press. In purchasing this pass and in consideration for being admitted to the event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Reed Exhibitions from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Reed Exhibitions and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Reed Exhibitions. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.

And Now a Word From Our Legal Team...
The unauthorized resale of a Badge, attempted resale of a Badge, or unauthorized transfer of a Badge to a third-party are strictly prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the Badge without compensation. Each Badge may only be used by the same Holder. FIBO’s operating hours, schedules, vendors and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each Badge is a revocable license to attend FIBO. All special events are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed. Special events may require an additional fee and/or will only be available to designated type of Badges. Holder acknowledges that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to attendees of special events and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this Badge and attending special events, Holder freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Holder may sustain as a result of attending special events, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of special events or Reed Exhibitions.
